Is the curriculum providing enough rigor for students to achieve at higher levels (post-secondary/college) of education?
Are state and federal imposed curriculum standards working? Why, or why not?
If not, should we allow schools to develop their own curriculum standards?
Should non-English speaking students be required to participate in English speaking classes immediately?
Or should they be provided with transitional (ESL) classes until they are proficient in English?
Should vocational education be reinstated as an option for students entering High School? Why, why not?
Is it a good idea to include special education students in mainstream classes?

With access to infinite information, are teachers and students being asked to learn too much in too short a period of time?

How do we determine what new topics and skills need to be added to the required curriculum? Should topics and skills be eliminated?
At what age should a child have mastered the fundamental literacies (reading, writing and arithmetic)?
